Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki is a American political advisor who served as the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 221. A member of Democratic Party, Psaki was previously the White House deputy secretary (2009), White House deputy director of communications (2009-2011), spokesperson for United States Department of State 2013-2015 as well as the White House communications Director (2015-2017). Psaki was a contributor to CNN's political coverage from 2017 through 2020. Psaki started her professional career in 2001 with the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was then named as deputy press secretary to John Kerry's presidential campaign in 2004. Psaki also served as communications director for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) as well as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was also the press secretary for President Obama's 2012 reelection campaigns. The 11th of February 13th, 2013, Psaki was appointed spokesperson for the United States Department of State. The speculations that she would replace Jay Carney White House Press secretary once he left for the White House[21] were fuelled by her hire by the Department of State. However, Josh Earnest was announced as the replacement for Carney on May 30th the 30th of May, 2014. In the year 2015, she was recalled to the White House as communications director and was there until the end of the Obama administration.
